Does a strategic rivalry lie at the basis of Iranian-Israeli troubled relations? This is what Parsi argued in his book Treacherous Alliance. I do not agree: only a discourse of enmity can explain why the relations between Tel Aviv and Tehran deteriorated after the 1979 Revolution. Please find attached my review of Parsi's book.
